Welcome to Denver
Downtown Littleton
Miles south of downtown Denver, Historic Downtown Littleton has a charm all its own - from turn-of-the-century buildings and antique shops to cozy, relaxed eateries, restaurants, and bars. Browse Main Street's independently owned shops and galleries featuring local artists. Step into the past at the Littleton Museum with its 19th-century farm, or experience community theater and music at the Town Hall Arts Center. Walk down Main St in Downtown Littleton from S Rapp to S Sycamore.
Downtown Westminster
A two-square-mile community in the southern part of the city, Historic Westminster is a vibrant place with history and character that has matured over 130 years. Today, Historic Westminster is home to thriving businesses and residents of all ages and ethnic backgrounds. It’s here that you’ll find authentic cuisine restaurants, specialty grocers, and family-run businesses that have been around for decades. Architecture here generally consists of 1960-1980s builds.
Edgewater
Edgewater is a newly up-and-coming “suburb” that is still very close to Denver and Sloan's Lake. Edgewater offers walkability without being in the heart of the city. Homes here were generally built 1930-1950s, but there has been a lot of recent new construction as well. The Edgewater Public Market has become Denver's most eclectic collective of local food stalls, retail boutiques, and rotating events.
Leyden Rock/West Arvada
Leyden Rock was developed in the 2010s to honor the natural landscape and reflect the beauty that is northwest Arvada. This community is filled with open space, trails, and wildlife while being surrounded by majestic mesas and breathtaking views. Tucked away in a beautiful rural setting, top-rated Jefferson County schools, hospitals, and shopping are all within a 20 minute drive and Boulder, downtown Denver, Golden and the mountains within a 30 minute drive.
Wheat Ridge
Located near the western edge of Denver, Wheat Ridge is an interesting mix of old and new. Primarily a residential city, Wheat Ridge also features several retail centers and more than 20 parks. Tucked in the curve of I-70 as it heads west into the mountains, Wheat Ridge is an expansive community with a rich mix of cultural and shopping centers. West 29th Restaurant & Bar is a local's favorite (with a stunning outdoor patio for summer evenings).
Broomfield
Broomfield is loved for its hometown feel, beautiful parks, and plentiful open space. Broomfield's central location between Boulder and Denver makes it the perfect spot for commuters. The city was named in Money Magazine's 2020 Best Places to Live, for its outdoor recreation as well as its plentiful job opportunities. Take a drive through Flatiron Crossing. While there are a lot of HOA’s and subdivisions in this area, there are charming, older neighborhoods to find as well.
Golden
Golden is a city and former gold rush town at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, in Colorado. It's known for its stunning landscape, outdoor recreation, and rich history. Clear Creek Trail is a network of paths running along a waterway. It passes Clear Creek White Water Park, a kayaking course. The Colorado School of Mines Geology Museum has exhibits on earth science and mining history. Northeast is the Colorado Railroad Museum, with vintage trains and an 1800s-style railroad depot.
Erie
Growing families, young professionals, outdoor enthusiasts, and active adults are all drawn to the panoramic views, scenic trails, premier educational facilities, championship golf course, and recreational activities. For a taste, there is a premier neighborhood called Five Parks in Erie/North Arvada which is fun to drive through.
Olde Town Arvada
Olde Town Arvada centers on Olde Town Square, where the Sunday Farmers' Market takes place from June to September. Quaint shops sell handmade pottery and crystal jewelry, while craft breweries and taverns draw night owls. Check out New Image Brewery and walk down Olde Wadsworth Blvd (between Ralston Rd and Grandview Ave). The Light Rail is relatively new to this area, which allows commuters to easily traverse to Downtown Denver , DIA, and everything in between. My favorite coffee shop is Hunter Bay Coffee Roasters, and a great new spot for new-age Mexican cuisine is the funky Lady Nomada.
Morrison
The quaint foothills community is famous for its beautiful Red Rock amphitheater, surrounded by jaw-dropping giant red sandstones, as well as a number of great trails, this park is a must-see! Its tiny main street strip is filled with restaurants, quaint shops and antique haunts. You’ll find some fun, unique things to see and do in Morrison throughout the year. And being so close to downtown Denver, within 25 minutes, the entire metropolitan area is your oyster.
Parker
Parker is increasingly growing in popularity with a mix of urban and small town feel. The majority of the homes in Parker are single family homes with acreage and room for animals. Near historic Main Street, you can find many activities such as Wine Walks, Concerts in the Park, Parker Days, and Christmas Parades. Not to mention the close proximity to the mountains.
DTC
Situated just 12 miles south of Downtown Denver, the Denver Tech Center is a hub for local, national and international businesses, especially in the technology space, making it a popular location for conferences and conventions. In addition to on-site dining at many of the hotels, there are ample restaurants, from high-end dining at Ocean Prime and Chianti Ristorante Italiano to local favorites like Snooze A.M. Eatery, Pint Brothers Alehouse and ViewHouse Centennial. For entertainment, catch a concert at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater or practice your swing at Topgolf Centennial.
